Building Operator, Night Shift

Kansas Wesleyan University seeks candidates for a Building Operator. This is a full-time, non-exempt, staff position that reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Shift is Thursday-Monday, 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Responsibilities: The Building Operator performs a variety of cleaning tasks and other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: Qualified person must be able to follow instructions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse constituencies; physically transport moderately heavy items at times to and from labs; lift; and push/pull 50+ pounds. The position stands or walks 100% of the time, and requires bending/lifting/kneeling/squatting and exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
Qualified candidate must be a high school graduate. Some experience in housekeeping or related field is desired. All persons considered for this position will be subject to a criminal background check and must agree to random drug testing.
