Kansas Wesleyan University seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking academic leader for the position of Executive Vice President and Provost (EVP/P). The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence in educational experiences for our students and faculty.  As the chief academic officer, the EVP/P is responsible for all academic departments and programs, and serves as a key member of the President’s senior administrative team.

Kansas Wesleyan University is historically linked to the United Methodist Church. The University offers traditional liberal arts programs, as well as some professional programs, at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The university is launching a new emphasis on engaged learning, even as the faculty are currently completing a major curriculum revision.  The university is located in Salina, Kansas, a vibrant city of 50,000 with a dynamic arts community.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

The EVP/P should hold a terminal degree, and should have substantial experience as a faculty member, with increasing responsibility in academic leadership.  Experience with online education would be a positive.
