Department of History Programs and Events

In addition to a commitment to excellence in the classroom, the KWU Department of History coordinates several events throughout the school year. These include the Annual Holocaust Remembrance and Genocide Awareness Week (held in mid-April) and the Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Week (held in mid-January). In Spring of 2012 the KWU Department of History was host to the 86th Annual Kansas Association of Historians Conference. The Department of History also plays a major role in the KWU partnership with the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. Many other events on the KWU campus have and continue to be co-sponsored by the Department of History. Please see links to the right and postings below for more information on past, current, and upcoming issues and events.
