Our Grads Say It Best

Here is what some of our graduates have to say about the MBA at Kansas Wesleyan University!

  Tami Corn, MBA '15

It had been more than 18 years since I stepped foot in a classroom as a student or cracked a textbook to study. After researching MBA programs and visiting with current students and professors at Kansas Wesleyan University, I knew the MBA program at KWU was the right choice for me. I balanced a full-time job as Web Developer at Salina Regional Health Center, caring for my family and attending classes full-time. The flexible evening classes, reasonable cost per credit hour and personal effort were well spent as I focused on expanding my professional potential while continuing to fulfill my lifelong motto to never stop learning. I'm proud to have a talented resourceful network of MBA professors that helped me grow, expanded my business knowledge and helped me to continue developing my management and leadership skills. -- Tami Corn, Web Developer, Salina Regional Health Center

Matthew Broeckelman, '14, MBA '15
(named Outstanding MBA Student of the Year, 2015)

"After graduating from Kansas Wesleyan University in 2014 with a degree in Exercise Science and Pre-Physical Therapy, I enrolled in the accelerated MBA program at KWU because of my particular interest in business and a desire to someday start my own physical therapy practice. Working 40 hours a week while taking classes every Tuesday and Thursday night was challenging, but extremely rewarding. I was accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) program at Wichita State University, with those classes starting just two weeks after I graduated with my MBA. The skills, knowledge, and confidence I gained from the MBA professors will be forever valuable in my professional endeavors."  -- Matthew Broeckelman, KWU Class of 2014, MBA '15

Jennifer Rein, MBA '10

"I enrolled in the MBA program at KWU to broaden my horizons, challenge myself, and make myself more marketable as I worked towards my career goals. The program fit into my busy schedule as a working mother and I enjoyed the personal attention and small class sizes. Now, as the Kansas Wesleyan Director of Alumni Relations, I tell other graduates about how this program can make a difference in their careers." -- Jennifer Rein, Director of Alumni Relations, Kansas Wesleyan University

Dana Plunkett, MBA '10

"Every day I make use of the knowledge and skills I developed while attending Kansas Wesleyan University's MBA program. The diversity of my classroom peers' professions enriched my learning experience. I always felt supported by the KWU faculty and staff and the course schedule was a good fit for my professional and personal life."  -- Dana Plunkett, Clinical Coordinator, Salina Regional Health Center
