Admissions Requirements for MBA Students

Admission Process. All individuals must complete the following formal application process for admission to graduate study.

  • An application for admission to graduate study must be completed on forms available from the Office of Admissions. A non-refundable $30 application fee must accompany the application form. This application fee will be waived for Kansas Wesleyan University seniors and graduates.
  • Applicants must possess an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • An official transcript is required from each college the student attended for undergraduate and graduate credit. Applicants must provide a written autobiographical essay describing why they want to pursue the M.B.A. and when they expect to complete the degree.
  • Non-native English speaking applicants must demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency to speak and read English. Such proficiency may be determined by scoring 550 on the paper-based TOEFL or 213 on the computer-based test or by obtaining an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States.
