Future Gift Planning

You are here

Planned or Deferred Giving is an excellent way to make the most significant impact on our campus.

Here is where you can learn more about Planned Giving!

By making and documenting your future giving plans, Kansas Wesleyan can also make its plans.

We encourage you to look at Ways to Give and review the many possible ways you can help KWU.

  Glenn L. Martin

Pictured is Glenn L. Martin, a former KWU student and aeronautical pioneer who received an honorary Doctor of Laws (L.L.D.) degree from KWU in 1933. In 1940, Martin established the first endowed fund at Kansas Wesleyan with a contribution of $115,000.  Martin later left to KWU an estate gift of $100,000 received upon his death in 1955, and an additional $300,000 contribution received in 1974 through a life estate gift.

We welcome your participation with Kansas Wesleyan and your support of our students, now and into the future, with your estate plans.

If you have already made arrangements to give to KWU from your estate, we would like to know! Please inform Bill Grevas, Vice President for Institutional Advancement with an email to bill.grevas@kwu.edu or by calling 785-833-4336.

You may also contact Sara Nettlingham, Director of Annual Giving/Stewardship - sara.nettlingham@kwu.edu - or call 785-833-4339.

All those who have contributed to KWU through a deferred gift are members of The Heritage Society.

You may also go directly to the Donor Calculations page to design your gift and check for tax benefits.
