By: David Toelle, KWU Sports Information

Wesleyan would add another pair in their half of the seventh. Ronny Romo would reach on an error to lead off the frame. Sean Kenney would single to short, and Fabricio Montoya would load the bases after being hit. Stephen Cilladi would walk home a run, and Sanchez would get hit to drive home the second run to get the Coyotes within the final score of 11-4.

Brian Dobyns would and Shaun Sumter would hold the Jayhawks off the board for their last two at bats.

Four different Kansas (17-18) players would have two hits, while Kyle Murphy would score three runs, and three others would have two RBIs each.

Kenney led Wesleyan (10-21) with three hits, while Sanchez drove in two runs, and Cilladi and Masojc each had one RBI for the Coyotes.

The Coyotes return to action on Saturday as they host Friends at Evans Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
