Kansas Wesleyan is no.2 seed in regional baseball tournament

The NAIA Region IV Baseball Tournament begins Wednesday and Kansas Wesleyan is the no.2 seed in this year’s tournament which runs through Saturday at Hobart-Detter Field in Hutchinson.
The Coyotes will open play on Wednesday at 2:30 against fifth-seeded York College. If Wesleyan wins, the Coyotes will face the winner of the no.3 Park vs. no.4 Friends match-up on Thursday at 6 p.m. If Wesleyan loses, the Coyotes will face the loser of the no.1 Bellevue vs. no.6 Bethany matchup at 11 a.m., on Thursday.
Bellevue University is the top seed in the tournament, followed by Wesleyan. Park is the no.3 seed, Friends is the no.4 seed, York is the no.5 seed and Bethany is the no.6 seed.
The winner of the NAIA Region IV Tournament will advance to the Plains Super-Regional, hosted by the winner of the Region III tournament. Dates and times for the super regionals will be released followed the regional tournaments.
