KWU Cross Country signs Lisa Friedrich

Kansas Wesleyan Cross Country Coach Jeff Barker announces his first signee in Cross Country for the 2008 season in the signing of Lisa Friedrich to a letter of intent.

Friedrich, currently a senior at Wamego High School, has been a part of the Red Raider Cross Country team under Coach Rick Patton.

“Lisa comes from a great tradition of distance running,” Barker said. “We hope she can bring that same type of hard work and dedication to KWU.”

Lisa is the daughter of Beth Friedrich of Wamego.

“Lisa is a great person,” Barker said. “I am overjoyed to have her at KWU next year.”
