Mick and Williams run at nationals

KENOSHA, Wisc. – Kansas Wesleyan Cross Country runners Jolene Mick and Sarah Williams completed their second consecutive trips to the NAIA National Championships on November 17.

Mick, an All-American last season, finished 64th in the 268-runner field with a 18:52, while Williams was 145th overall with a 19:34.

Azusa Pacific’s Jaime Canterbury was the individual women’s champion, running a 17:10, while teammate Jacky Kipwambok was second overall with a 17:14.

Simon Fraser (B.C.) was the team champion, beating second place Cedarville (Ohio) by 46 points to claim its fifth consecutive Women’s Cross Country National Championship.
