Cross Country posts strong showing at Southern Stampede JOPLIN, Mo. – Among the big boys, Kansas Wesleyan’s cross country teams ran well and posted strong showings at the Missouri Southern Stampede on Saturday. The women posted a 19th place finish out of 34 teams in a meet that featured several NCAA Division I and Division II teams, as well as other top NAIA programs. The men finished 14th out of 26 teams. Cross Country teams open season at Maple Leaf Invite BALDWIN CITY – Kansas Wesleyan opened its 2008 cross country season with the Baker Maple Leaf Invitational at the Baldwin City Golf Course. Senior Sarah Williams set a new course record winning the women’s race, while the men were led by Mike Rascon, who finished 24th overall. (more info...)
