Dallas again quiet on annual KCAC Football Media Day
By: David Toelle, KWU Sports Information
Just like last season, KWU head coach Dave Dallas didn’t have much to say when he stepped up to the podium on the annual KCAC Football Media Day, held Friday at the Salina Country Club.
“We have a great group coming back,” Dallas said several times. “The big key will be team chemistry.”
The Coyotes were picked near the top in both the coaches’ poll and the media poll. Wesleyan tied with Friends with 101 points in the media poll, but the Coyotes had seven first place votes, as opposed to three for the Falcons.
In the coaches’ poll, KWU was picked second behind the Falcons with 87 points. Friends was just five points ahead with 92, and both teams shared four first place votes.
Tabor was picked third by the coaches and fourth by the media to round out the top three picks in both polls.
