Coyote Football signs Patrick Shelton to letter of intent

Kansas Wesleyan University Football coach Dave Dallas announces the signing of Patrick Shelton to a letter of intent.
Shelton, a 6-3, 220 pound linebacker, tight end and long snapper is completing his senior year at Palm Harbor University High School in Palm Harbor, Fla. He played for coach Pete Just.
While at PHUHS, Shelton was named an All-Star Linebacker, an All-Conference Tight End, and MVP Linebacker. He was also a national champion long snapper.
“Patrick will be an impact player for us,” KWU coach Dave Dallas said. “He makes us a stronger football team whatever position we play him at. I look forward to his contributions this season for the Coyotes.”
Shelton is the son of Jim and Tina Shelton of Palm Harbor, Fla.
The Coyotes kick off the 2006 season against two-time defending conference champion Tabor College on September 9.
Kansas Wesleyan University is a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
