Barry named KCAC Special Teamer of the Week
By: David Toelle, KWU Sports Information

Barry

Michael Barry has been named as the KCAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in Kansas Wesleyan’s 42-7 rout of Southwestern Assemblies of God on Saturday.

Barry, a 5-10, 180 pound freshman from Missouri City, Texas, was six-for-six on PAT attempts in the win over the Lions.

This is Barry's second selection as KCAC Special Teams Player of the Week this season. He was also selected in KWU's 20-18 win over Friends University in week two.

Barry is a perfect 22-for-22 on the season on PAT attempts.

The win helped the Coyotes remain unbeaten and move up to a no.10 NAIA National Ranking.

The no.10 ranked Coyotes will host McPherson College in a 1:30 PM kickoff at Martin Stadium. It’s the final home game of a three game homestand for KWU.
