Darell Grames and Anthony Padilla earned KCAC Offensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for their efforts in Kansas Wesleyan’s 31-16 win over Bethany College on Saturday’s season finale.

Grames, a 6-0, 215 pound senior running back from Red Bluff, Calif., carried 35 times for 218 yards and four touchdowns in his final game at Kansas Wesleyan University. He also moved into third place in all-time career rushing list at KWU, passing Ron West on his first carry of the game.

Padilla, a 5-10, 180 pound junior kicker from Chino, Calif., had six kickoffs for 342 yards (57.0 avg), and two touchbacks. Five of his six kickoffs were inside the 12-yard line, except for a squibb kick following Wesleyan’s final touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Kansas Wesleyan finished 8-2 overall and 7-2 in the KCAC, in a tie with Sterling for third place in the KCAC behind Co-Champions Friends and Bethel.
