Coyote Football announces 2007 schedule

Looking to improve on an 8-2 overall record in 2006, Kansas Wesleyan has announced its 2007 football schedule.

The biggest change will be that the Coyotes will play all home games at Salina Stadium, instead of Wesleyan’s Martin Stadium.

The Coyotes will open the season against KCAC Co-Champion Bethel on September 8 at 7:00 in Salina. Wesleyan will then head to McPherson on September 15 before returning home for back-to-back games against Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) and Southwestern on September 22 and 29, respectively. The Southwestern game will be Wesleyan’s homecoming game, and will be the final night game of the season for the Coyotes.

Wesleyan will play four of its last six games on the road starting with a pair at Ottawa on October 6 and at Friends on October 13.

The Coyotes will host Saint Mary on October 20, before heading on the road for back-to-back contests at Sterling on October 27 and at arch-rival Bethany on November 3. Wesleyan concludes the regular season on November 10 at home against Tabor.
