By: David Toelle, KWU Sports Information

Scotty McKeon

Kansas Wesleyan’s Scotty McKeon has been named as the KCAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in KWU’s 40-0 win over Southwestern College on Saturday.

McKeon, a 5-10, 180 pound junior from Rohnert Park, Calif., had a busy day for the Coyotes on special teams. McKeon connected on a 31-yard field goal in the second quarter. He also was 5-for-5 on PAT attempts, and averaged 40 yards per punt on three punts with a long of 49 yards. He also had seven kickoffs, most of which were sky kicks for a total of 352 yards and had one touchback.

Kansas Wesleyan will face Ottawa University this Saturday. It is Homecoming 2008 for the Coyotes, with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m. from Salina Stadium.
