By: David Toelle, KWU Sports Information
Kansas Wesleyan University head football coach Dave Dallas announces the signing of 26 football players as part of National Signing Day.
Headlining the list is local product linebacker A.J. Farmer from Salina Central High School. Farmer was a three-year starter at Central and led the Mustangs in tackles last fall with 142 -- 16 for losses. He finished his career with 347 tackles and ranks fourth on the school's career list. Farmer, who earned first team all-Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League honors last fall, also was named First Team All-State.
Other signees from Salina include Ray Parker (5-8, 200, RB, Montelair, Va.) from St. John’s Military School. Park was named First Team All-League and First Team All-State, and received the Kansas Sportsman Award.
