In 2007, Ozga received the KWU Hall of Fame award, which is awarded to an individual who displays outstanding academic achievement as well as service to the community. He will continue as assistant softball coach again this year.

Ozga spends his free time assisting around the community, helping with the Heart of America Sports Camps and is also involved with the Kansas Kids Fitness Day.

He has over 1,000 hours of athletic training field experience and has extensive experience in therapeutic and exercise modalities. In 2006, he served as the Athletic Trainer for the Kansas Cagerz, a semi-professional basketball team located in Salina, where he was responsible for all the game day health operations for the Cagerz.
