Rob Ozga begins his first year as Athletic Training Intern at Kansas Wesleyan.
Ozga is no stranger to KWU, playing baseball for the Coyotes while completing his Bachelor degree in Athletic Training in 2007. He is currently working towards his M.B.A. with emphasis in Sports Management from KWU.
In 2007, Ozga received the KWU Hall of Fame award, which is awarded to an individual who displays outstanding academic achievement as well as service to the community. He also served as assistant softball coach for the Coyotes last season, and helped lead the program to a share of the 2007 KCAC Softball Championship. He will continue as assistant softball coach again this year.
Ozga spends his free time assisting around the community, helping with the Heart of America Sports Camps and is also involved with the Kansas Kids Fitness Day.
He has over 1,000 hours of athletic training field experience and has extensive experience in therapeutic and exercise modalities. In 2006, he served as the Athletic Trainer for the Kansas Cagerz, a semi-professional basketball team located in Salina, where he was responsible for all the game day health operations for the Cagerz.
