






Coyotes sweep McPherson to remain unbeaten in conference play
Heather Muilenburg scored both goals for the women, and Jose Garay and Mario Rodriguez each had a goal and an assist for the men as the Kansas Wesleyan soccer teams capped Homecoming 2008 with a sweep of McPherson on Saturday night at Salina Stadium. The Coyote women won 2-1 in overtime, while the men pitched their third straight shutout with a 4-0 win. (more info...)

Wesleyan routs Bethel twice in soccer Kansas Wesleyan’s soccer teams combined for 17 goals while giving up none as the Coyotes routed Bethel College on Wednesday afternoon at the Salina Soccer Complex on East Magnolia Avenue. Women’s soccer ties, men fall to Missouri Baptist Kansas Wesleyan met up with Missouri Baptist on Saturday afternoon at Salina Stadium, but was unable to pick up a win over the Spartans. Wesleyan’s women went 110 minutes, but came away with nothing, as KWU and MBU played to a scoreless tie; while in the men’s match, Brocklon Chatman scored all three goals for Missouri Baptist, including the overtime game winner in the 96th minute as the Coyotes fell 3-2 (more info...)
