Six Men’s Soccer Players named All-KCAC

Six Kansas Wesleyan Men’s Soccer players have been named All-KCAC as selected by the conference coaches on Sunday.
Five Coyotes were named First Team All-KCAC, including three that were First Team All-KCAC in 2005. Joel Gunterman at defender, Trey Thompson at midfielder and goalkeeper Wayne Johnson all were repeat first team honorees, while Steve Gloria at forward and Mike Padilla at midfielder earned their first All-KCAC honors.
Abe Moran was named Second Team All-KCAC at forward.

Johnson earned two of the KCAC individual honors, being named both the Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Year. It was Johnson’s second nod as keeper of the year for the KCAC.
Thompson was also named KCAC Offensive Player of the Year.
The Coyotes earned the no.2 seed in the KCAC Post-Season Tournament and will play the winner of the Tabor at McPherson match on Friday at 3:00 in McPherson.
