KCAC Soccer Post Season Tournament Brackets Released

The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the seedings and pairings for this week’s KCAC Post-Season Soccer Tournaments.

Just like last season, the top six teams in the KCAC make the tournament. The no.1 and no.2 seeds get byes into the semifinals on Friday held this year at McPherson College, while the no.4 and no.5 seeds play, and the no.3 and no. seeds play earlier in the week at the higher seed. The finals are also held at McPherson this year on Saturday.

On Tuesday, the women’s bracket will play its first round games as no.3 seed Saint Mary hosts no.6 seed McPherson at 3:30 in Leavenworth, and no.4 seed Ottawa will host no.5 seed Friends at 3:00 in Ottawa. The winner of Friends and Ottawa will then play no.1 seed Kansas Wesleyan on Friday at 5:30 PM in McPherson, and the winner of Saint Mary and McPherson will play no.2 seed Sterling at 8:00 on Friday, also in McPherson. The winners of the two semifinals will then play for the tournament championship on Saturday at 8:00.

On Wednesday, the men’s bracket will play its first round games as no.3 seed McPherson hosts no.6 seed Tabor at 7:00, and no.4 seed Sterling hosts no.5 seed Bethel at 3:00. The winner of Sterling vs. Bethel will play no.1 seed Friends at 12:30 PM on Friday in McPherson and the winner of McPherson vs. Tabor will play no.2 seed Kansas Wesleyan at 3:00.  The winners of the semifinal matches will then play on Saturday at 5:30 for the tournament championship.
