Kansas Wesleyan Shuts Out Bellevue, 2-0
Gleason, Garay move Coyotes into Region IV final

PARKVILLE, Mo. - Kansas Wesleyan got goals from Jimi Gleason and Jose Garay, and KWU keeper Robert Carillo came up with four saves, as the Coyotes advanced to the NAIA Region IV title game with a 2-0 win over Bellevue University Wednesday.
Kansas Wesleyan (14-4-2) out-shot the Bruins (10-6-2) 13-8 including an 8-4 advantage in shots on goal.
The Coyotes got on the board in the 27th minute when Gleason put Garay's corner kick in the back of the net, and KWU notched another a minute into the second half to go up 2-0.
Garay scored the goal as the 46th minute came to a close, lofting the ball over the Bellevue keeper after a through pass from Miguel Wenceslao.
Sebastian Narvaez spent all 90:00 in the net for the Bruins, recording six saves and allowing two goals. KWU took six corners in the game to Bellevue's four, and the Bruins committed 22 fouls to Kansas Wesleyan's nine in the semifinal round.
The Coyotes move on to Thursday's 4:30 title match, which will feature the winner of Park University and Friends University.
