Coyote tracksters kick off outdoor season at Southwestern

The Kansas Wesleyan University track and field team kicked off the outdoor portion of the schedule on Friday at the Southwestern Invitational.
Several athletes received top ten honors led by Amy Waterman and Russell Simon.
Waterman placed third in the women’s shot put with a throw of 40-9.5. She also placed seventh in the hammer throw with a throw of 117-8. Simon placed third in the men’s shot put with a throw of 45-8. He also placed sixth in the discus with a throw of 131-10.
