Amy Waterman qualified for Nationals

Amy Waterman has qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track National Championships in the shot put.

Waterman threw a 42’5.25” mark at the February 24 Bethany Throws Meet to make the Nationals “A” standard which is 41’ 6”. This is her second consecutive year qualifying for Nationals.

Her mark also sets a new KWU indoor women’s record for the shot put.

Waterman’s mark is also 17th best in the NAIA in indoor track this year.

NAIA Indoor Nationals is March 8 – 10 in Johnson City, Tenn.
