Two Cerritos College harriers sign with Kansas Wesleyan

Kansas Wesleyan University Head Cross Country and Track and Field coach Zach Kindler announces the signing of Jennifer Minero and Kelly Corral to letters of intent.

Minero, a native of La Mirada, Calif., spent the last two seasons at Cerritos Community College. She received the Coach Award, the Inspiration Award, and received the Terry Lee Flores Scholarship award in High School.
She is the daughter of Josee and Fred Minero.
Corral, a native of Signal Hill, Calif., also spent the last two seasons at Cerritos CC, running for coaches John Goldman and Michael Allen. Corral was a three year CIF qualifier in track, as well as being team MVP for three years in a row during high school in both track and cross country. She was First Team All-League in track and a SoCal qualifier in track at Cerritos. She was also a member of the two-time Conference Champions at Cerritos in Cross Country.
She is the daughter of Maria and Miguel Corral.

“Both Jennifer and Kelly will be a strong part of our program as we try to recapture the KCAC Women’s Cross Country title,” Kindler said. “Their junior college experience will also be an asset as we build up our track teams to compete for the KCAC championships.”
Kansas Wesleyan University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). The KCAC is a conference of ten small private colleges in Kansas.
