Katelyn Cook to run at Kansas Wesleyan 

Kansas Wesleyan University Head Cross Country and Track and Field coach Zach Kindler announces the signing of Katelyn Cook to a letter of intent.

Cook is currently a senior at Steelville R-3 High School in Steelville, Mo., where she runs for coach Dennis Roper. Cook finished sixth in her conference last fall, and has been a state qualifier each of the last two seasons.

“Katelyn will be a strong part of our program as we try to recapture the KCAC Women’s Cross Country title,” Kindler said. “She will also be an asset as we build up our track teams to compete for the KCAC championships.”

Kansas Wesleyan University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). The KCAC is a conference of ten small private colleges in Kansas.
