Kyle Hamel to run at Kansas Wesleyan  

Kansas Wesleyan University Head Track and Field coach Zach Kindler announces the signing of Kyle Hamel to a letter of intent.

Hamel is currently a senior at Salina South High School where he runs for coach Ken Stonebraker. Hamel has garnered several Top-Ten finishes at the KSHSAA State Championships, including fourth place in Long Jump, seventh in Triple Jump and was a member of the 400 meter relay team that finished fourth.

“Kyle will be an integral part as we try to rebuild the men’s programs at Kansas Wesleyan,” Kindler said.

Kansas Wesleyan University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). The KCAC is a conference of ten small private colleges in Kansas.
