Two KWU Volleyball players earn KCAC Player of the Week honors

Kolby Rhoades and Landree MacLennan have earned KCAC Player and KCAC Setter of the Week honors, respectively, for their efforts during play last week.
Rhoades, a junior outside hitter from Burlington, Colo., earned KCAC Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, as she averaged 6.375 kills per game for the Coyotes, as KWU knocked off the no.7 ranked team in NAIA Region IV, McPherson, and also defeated a much improved Bethany College team.
MacLennan, a freshman setter from Byers, Colo., earned KCAC Setter of the Week honors for the second time in the last three weeks. MacLennan averaged 13.75 assists per game during the two matches (eight games), as the Coyotes knocked off regionally ranked McPherson, and Bethany.

Both players’ helped Wesleyan extend its winning streak to six matches last week. Since, the Coyotes have extended the winning streak to eight matches, beating Friends University on Monday in Wichita and knocking off KCAC leading Tabor College on Wednesday night in Muir Gym.
The Coyotes face Bethel College on Saturday, before finishing the regular season with matches at Ottawa, and against Saint Mary next week.
