LINDSBORG – Sarah Claborn has earned both KCAC and NAIA Region IV Volleyball Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week for her efforts in two wins last week.

It marks the third time this season that Claborn has earned both KCAC and NAIA Region IV honors.

Claborn, a 5-8 junior outside hitter from Aurora, Colo., averaged 5.5 kills, 1.13 aces and 5.13 digs per game in eight games as Kansas Wesleyan picked up wins over Saint Mary (Kan.) and Baker (Kan.) last week.

Against Saint Mary, she had 21 kills, six aces and 25 digs as the Lady Coyotes defeated the Spires in four games.

Last Thursday against then Region V No.3 ranked Baker, Claborn added another 23 kills, three aces, 16 digs and two solo blocks as the Lady Coyotes upset Baker in four games.

Wesleyan was back in action on Tuesday night at home facing Tabor, as the Lady Coyotes won an eighth consecutive match with a three game sweep of the Bluejays. Up next for the Lady Coyotes is Sterling on Thursday at Muir Gym.
