Huge second half propels KWU women to win over McPherson Maybe the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes were not yet fully recovered from Thursday night’s thrilling overtime win over Southwestern during the first half of Saturday’s game against McPherson College inside Mabee Arena. Whatever it was, it wasn’t good. The Coyotes found themselves on the short end of a 12-point halftime deficit and trailed by 15 just before the half. Second half, different story. The Coyotes roared back, scoring 58 points in the second 20 minutes and turned the deficit into a lead that was 21 points at one point as the Coyotes picked up an 85-71 win over the Bulldogs.
