Kansas Wesleyan University signs Jennifer Menke to a letter of intent

Jennifer Menke

Kansas Wesleyan University Head Women’s Basketball coach Gordon Reimer announces the signing of Jennifer Menke to a letter of intent.

Menke, a 5-8 post from Lawrence, Neb., has spent the last two seasons at North Platte Community College in Nebraska playing for coach Dick Thurin.

Prior to NPCC, Menke played high school ball at Lawrence High in Lawrence, Nebraska.

At NPCC, Menke shot a team best 51.7 percent from the field, while averaging 8.97 points and 4.52 rebounds a game for the Lady Knights. She also had a team best 72 steals this season.

“Jennifer plays hard and physical making her an outstanding addition to our team.” Gordon Reimer said

Jennifer is the daughter of Charles and Jan Menke of Lawrence, Neb.

The Lady Coyotes kick off the 2006-07 season on November 1, at home against Columbia College, Mo.
