Women’s Basketball signs Tiffany Goetz to letter of intent

Kansas Wesleyan University Women’s Basketball coach Gordon Reimer has signed Hoxie High School’s Tiffany Goetz to a letter of intent for the 2007-08 season.
Goetz, a 5-5 forward, was named Honorable Mention All-NWKL this season, after being named First Team All-NWKL as well as being named Honorable Mention All-Area and Honorable Mention All-Class her junior year.
Hoxie made three appearances at the KSHSAA Class 2A State Championships in Manhattan during Goetz’s time at the school.
Also involved in volleyball, track and power lifting, Goetz earned numerous honors including being named All-NWKL in volleyball this year. She was also the state runner up in the state power lifting competition, as was state champion in the power clean.
“Tiffany will be a good fit for our program,” Head Coach Gordon Reimer said. “It will give her the opportunity to continue her basketball careers at the collegiate level.”
Kansas Wesleyan opens the 2007-08 season on Friday, November 2, at the Benedictine (Kan.) Classic in Atchison.
Kansas Wesleyan University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and is located in Salina.
