Women’s Basketball signs pair of Rock Hills players to letters of intent Kansas Wesleyan University Women’s Basketball coach Gordon Reimer has signed to Rock Hills High School players to letters of intent to play for the Lady Coyotes next season. Abby Newell and Brandi Jensen have signed with the Lady Coyotes. Newell, a 5-5 guard, will play for Wesleyan next season after leading the Rock Hills Lady Grizzlies to the Pike Trail League Tournament Championship and a 13-8 record. Jensen, a 5-9 forward, will also pay for the Lady Coyotes next season after playing this season with for coach Rick Diamond. “Both Abby and Brandi will be good fits for our program,” Head Coach Gordon Reimer said. “It will give them the opportunity to continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level.” The duo consistently led the Lady Grizzlies in scoring game after game this season. Both earned First Team All-Pike Trail League honors this season. -- KWU SI --
