Summer Service Mission

You are here

Are you interested in a life-changing opportunity? Join Cameron Jackson, the Director of Spiritual Development, for an eight-day Service Mission where you will engage in meaningful community projects throughout a beautiful country. You will be linked to many United Methodist Church opportunities where you can use your gifts and talents to show and share the love of Christ! Service Missions are perfect for anyone who has a heart to serve others and wants to make a significant difference in the world. Projects may include sports ministry in the village schools, teaching bible school, cooking for teams, teaching computers, reforestation projects with an indigenous tribe, and strengthening realtionships with international partners.

This experience will give you a combination of exploring your gifts, engaging in discipleship and awesome adventures. Zip-lining, whitewater rafting, hiking, and exploring the jungle are just a few of the team building activities planned. So, grab your friends and be a part of life-changing adventure, while experiencing the sights and sounds of beautiful Costa Rica and serving others.

Informational meetings will be announced in the fall.
