If you are looking for something fun and exciting to do in your spare time, then participating in KWU Intramurals is the thing for you.

The purpose of intramurals is strictly recreational and to have fun. Don’t worry about your ability because we offer both athletic and non-athletic activities.

The Mission of KWU Intramurals

The Intramural and Recreation Sports Program at Kansas Wesleyan University is dedicated to providing a broad and competitive variety of physical and social activities designed to meet the diverse needs and interests of the students, faculty and staff of Kansas Wesleyan University and on some occasions, the community of Salina. Participants have an opportunity to choose from various team and individual activities. The program offers equal opportunity for participation to both sexes, regardless of their ability or skills. The program strives to enhance the quality of life, increase socialization and encourage lifelong recreation and wellness.

KWU eSports Team 

Kansas Wesleyan University students have joined the ranks online team video game competitions, also known as eSports, with the formation of the KWU eSports teamThe fall 2015 roster boasted 25 members from a variety of academic disciplines, including both athletes and non-athletes, who hail from numerous states and the country of Taiwan. KWU eSports players have the use of a shared computer lab--Peters Science Hall Room 129--with 30 PCs that have the game “League of Legends” installed and ready to play, plus a projector and a white board for a screen. In fall 2015, Kansas Wesleyan University was accepted as an official “League of Legends” team by Riot Games, maker of the game. On Friday, Oct. 23,2015, KWU was victorious against the eSports team from Loyola University of Chicago, winning 2-0 in a five-on-five, best-of-three match playing “League of Legends.”
