KSDE and NCATE Accreditation 2007
The Department of Teacher Education of Kansas Wesleyan University is accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE), 120 SE 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66612-1182 and the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), 2010 Massachusetts Ave., NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC, 20036. Phone (202) 466-7496. This accreditation covers initial teacher preparation programs. The department's licensure programs are also approved by the KSDE.

Call for public comments concerning KWU's Teacher Education program

A team with representatives from the Kansas State Department of Education and NCATE Board of Examiners will conduct a site-visit and review of all Teacher Education Programs offered by KWU, November 3-7, 2007.
