- Students must complete a minimum of 45 credit hours of general education with distribution in the following fields:
- 12 hours of Basic Skills courses: 6 hours of English composition, 3 hours of speech communication, and 3 hours of college-level mathematics. (Statistics will be required of transfer students where the university curriculum requires it.)

- Foreign language requirements are viewed as graduation requirements and not as general educational requirements for purposes of this agreement.
Students completing the A.A. or A.S. degree at one of the community colleges designated above with the 45 credit hours of general education coursework as outlined in the Transfer Articulation Agreement and who transfer to Kansas Wesleyan University will be require to take at least one Bible-based religion course, and enough additional credits from the disciplines listed above to complete the minimum number of hours as specified in the Liberal Education requirements for the baccalaureate degree at Kansas Wesleyan University.
