KWU Scholarships combine academics and activities into a single, renewable award. The higher your academic standing, the more KWU funds you can automatically receive (no long essay to write). Students are encouraged to participate in activities, athletics, or explore various majors without the worry of losing money. Unlike most institutions, you also have the opportunity to increase or attain KWU Scholarships based upon your college GPA (your high school achievement record affects your first year award only). 98% of the students who attends KWU receive financial assistance through a combination of KWU awards, State and Federal grants and scholarships, loans and work study.
These programs (with the exception of the Pell Grant) require full-time enrollment. Most programs require a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000 or higher.
