You are here

Sunday, December 7, 2014 - 3:00pm to 9:30pm
Location:  Sams Chapel, The Hall of the Pioneers

Heralded as one of the longest running traditions at Kansas Wesleyan University, Christmas By Candlelight showcases the vocal and instrumental talents of KUW and local high school students in a magical and spiritual performance celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Please join the Kansas Wesleyan and Salina communities as we begin the Christmas season with a night of joyful song, magic and wonder in our presentation of "The First Nowell."

There will be two performances of KWU's Christmas By Candlelight on Sunday, December 7, 2014:  at 3-5 p.m. and at 7:30-9:30 p.m., with choirs of two local high schools featured in each concert (SEE BELOW). Concert tickets are free, but reservations through the Music Department are recommended to assure you of a seat.

Dinner at 5:30 p.m. at the Hauptli Student Center, inside the Student Activities Center. Join us between performances for a delicious old English-Style Christmas Dinner, with greetings from our music department and warm fellowship. Tickets to the dinner are $20 per person and include a reserved seat for the 7:30 p.m. Christmas By Candlelight concert. To reserve your place, contact Alison Harbaugh at alison.harbaugh@kwu.edu
