Michelle Marques has been a graduate assistant for the Kansas Wesleyan Volleyball program since August 2015.
Marques came to Kansas Wesleyan after spending four years at University of Texas-Brownsville helping the Ocelots to four straight Red River Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships and two NAIA National Championships in 2011 and 2013.
While at UTB, she had a career hitting percentage of .278, while averaging 2.22 kills per set and .56 blocks per set. She was named Honorable Mention All-Red River Conference in 2011 and First Team All-RRAC in 2012 and 2013. She was also twice named Honorable Mention NAIA All-America in 2012 and 2013. She also earned Academic All-RRAC honors in 2012 and 2013.
Marques graduated from UTB with a Bachelor of Arts in English (Literature and Linguistics) and a minor in French. She played professionally for four years in Brazil as well.
