This Halloween, Kansas Wesleyan University will host “Trunk or Treat”, an event designed to give the community an opportunity for a safe trick-or-treating experience. The event, hosted by the Office of Student Development, will feature decorated vehicles of faculty, staff, and student organizations. Participants will be allowed to trick-or-treat from each vehicle. In addition, Jeff Graham of the Salina Paranormal Investigative Research Team (S.P.I.R.i.T) will be on hand to discuss his ghost hunting adventures and equipment.
“This is a really great opportunity for the kids in the community to come to campus for a safe and family-friendly Halloween activity,” said Courtney (Wiggins) Miller, KWU student organizer of the event. “Our students are putting a lot of energy into the decorations, and they are especially excited about seeing the kids in their costumes.”
“Trunk or Treat” is free and open to the public and will be held on Thursday, October 31, from 6-8 p.m. in the south parking lot of Pioneer Hall. For more information, contact Elle Pottorf at firstname.lastname@example.org or Wiggins at email@example.com.
