KWU Music Department Presents: "I Love a Piano"

Travel a 100 years back and fall into the music of Irving Berlin, as Kansas Wesleyan University presents, “I Love a Piano.” This production is centered around and celebrates Berlin’s music and lyrics. Music performed will include “Blue Skies”, “Always”, “White Christmas”, “God Bless America”, and “I Love a Piano”.
The show will take you back as a piano travels through the decades in many scenes of the United States’ history. “I Love a Piano” was conceived and written by Ray Roderick and Michael Berkeley and musical arrangement by Michael Berkeley.
The show opens on Thursday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m in Fitzpatrick Auditorium in Sams Hall of Fine Arts. It will also be performed on Saturday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Seven students from Kansas Wesleyan will sing including, Tyler Jones, Eric Schwerdtfager, Jaicee Wilson, Mackenize Augustin, Sarah Draget, Wilma Manzano, and Alysha Pierce.
Refreshments will be served following the show.
