Kansas Wesleyan Music Department Presents: The Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra and Full Orchestra in Concert

The majority of the instrumental music department will perform at Kansas Wesleyan University. The concert takes place on Tuesday December, 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Pioneer Hall in Sams Chapel. 

The Percussion Ensemble is directed by Dean Kranzler, the Wind Ensemble is directed by Sarah Bernard-Stevens, the Orchestra is directed by Ken Hakoda, and both Hakoda and Bernard-Stevens direct the Full Orchestra. 

The concert will feature music by Clare Grundman, Joseph Compello, Arcangelo Corelli and many others. Songs performed will include: “Kentucky 1800,” “Blue and Green Music,” “Brazilian Street Dance,” “Jingle Bells Forever,” “Concerto Grosso No. 8,” and many others. 

The concert is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served following the performance.
