The Kansas Wesleyan Exercise Science Department and Student Development are hosting their third annual Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 20, in the Hauptli Student Activities Center.

The Wellness Fair is designed to educate the public about being active and healthy. The Salina Family YMCA, CrossFit Salina, and Genesis Health Clubs will offer free fitness classes during the morning at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30. In addition, participants can win raffle items and get free information about living a healthy and active lifestyle.

"It's so important to learn about how to live well - whether it is eating, exercising, or just taking time for yourself. We want to educate everyone on their best lifestyle," said Bryan Minnich.

This is the third year for the program, which is facilitated by students.

"I'm here for guidance, but the students really do all of the work - it's part of their class," Minnich said.

The Wellness Fair is from 9am-1pm and is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Bryan Minnich at bryan.minnich@kwu.edu or Kamie Rash at kamie.rash@kwu.edu
