Kansas Wesleyan University will head into the 2013-14 academic year with the announcement of a new Director of Athletics. On Wednesday, July 17, the Coyotes will name the successor to Dave Dallas, who served in the interim for nearly two years in addition to his duties as head football coach. The public and press are invited to the conference to meet KWU’s new athletic director in the Hauptli Student Activity Center at 11 am Central Standard Time.
Since 2005, Kansas Wesleyan student-athletes have had great success on and off the field: Coyote teams have won 46 conference and regional championships, nine student-athletes have been recognized as academic All-Americans, 25 Academic All-Districts, 100 NAIA Scholar Athletes, and more than 50 have been named NAIA All-American Athletes. In addition, KWU coaches have been named KCAC Coach of the Year 18 times and the Coyotes hold a .644 winning percentage in the conference. KWU has also placed 110 student-athletes on Academic All-KCAC lists since the honor was revived in 2011-12.
