The Art2Go exhibition in The Gallery at Kansas Wesleyan University opened on Thursday, November 7. This exhibition featured approximately 15 local and regional artists. A range of media in a variety of sizes were on display, from pencil drawings to 3-D work to photography. All of the art work is for sale and under $100.
“With the holidays quickly approaching, artwork makes an easy gift for a loved one,” said Lori Wright, Assistant Professor of Art and Design. “A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Kansas Wesleyan Art and Design Department and future scholarships.”
A reception will be open to the public on Thursday, November 7 from 5-7 p.m. A handful of the artists will be present to discuss their work and refreshments will be provided.
Work will be displayed in the lobby until Friday, December 13 at noon. The Gallery, in Sams Hall of Fine Arts, is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. or by appointment on the weekends. Art2Go pieces can be purchased at the reception or by contacting Gallery Director Megan Berry at
