SALINA, KS – Kansas Wesleyan hires two new vice presidents.
We were blessed in our recent Executive Vice President and Provost search to have many great candidates, including two highly qualified finalists. After review by the EVP/Provost Search Committee and with review and input from members of the campus, President Thompson announced today the selection of Dr. Nancy H. Cummings as our next Executive Vice President and Provost.
The university is at a moment when it must be nimble and seize opportunities in order to secure the implementation of our collective vision for KWU. With the endorsement of the search committee and the executive team, Dr. Robert F. Scott, Jr. was also hired into a newly created Cabinet-level role as the Vice President for Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness. He will play a critical role in creating the university's online presence, strategic plan implementation, HLC and accreditation compliance, and review of campus-wide effectiveness.
Both Dr. Cummings and Dr. Scott will begin at KWU on Monday, June 9.
