KWU students pose at the Kansas State Capitol

Four Kansas Wesleyan Students traveled to Topeka on Tuesday, Feb. 7, for Student Day at the Capitol hosted by the Kansas Independent College Association (KICA). Kobee McCorkle, Autumn Zimmerman, Trail Spears and Kaleb Whitehair were recommended for this opportunity by KWU faculty. The day included a lesson on advocacy, lobbying, and the state of Independent Higher Education Policy, followed by legislative appointments.
