KWU Heritage Society members are recognized for including Kansas Wesleyan University in their estate plans, establishing an endowed scholarship, or both.
Each fall, Kansas Wesleyan University celebrates the lives and contributions of extraordinary individuals during its annual Founders Day celebration. The event is attended by members of the University's Heritage Society who have made plans for KWU to benefit from their estates. Also attending are KWU Board of Trustees and KW Foundation Board of Trustee members, University officials. The actual date of Founders Day is September 15, however the Founders Day event has taken place throughout the year as schedules allow.
The Annual Heritage Society Scholarship Event, is being brought back in the spring which highlights scholarship contributors and students who have benefited from scholarship donations. This is an excellent opportunity for students and friends of the university to meet in person and share in fellowship.
